I’d like to offer my expertise as a Support Care worker. Most people are of the opinion that caring for people who have trouble looking after themselves is extremely challenging. While I have the opinion that it is the most rewarding work in the world. I love working with people who need assistance in performing activities of daily living, and each moment of this time has been extremely fulfilling. I have a great capability to work with seniors, elderly, and persons with a disability. In addition, I am highly skilled in preparing, cooking and serving meals in keeping with the hygiene standards. Besides, I am able to; launder clothing, perform light housekeeping duties, provide companionship, assist in feeding and walking and help clients with bathing and further aspects of personal hygiene. Furthermore, I can devise care plans suited to individual needs and making amendments to these plans when needed. I’ve had the opportunity to design and implement interactive activities for clients which helped most of them immensely in terms of self-confidence and dignity.
