I am studying Bsc in nursing and I am in my 4th semester at Curtin University. My study is equivalent to Aged Care certificate 3. In addition, I have had several placements at Home Care facilities and hospitals. So, I am pretty confident about working as a carer/AIN. I am currently working with Just Better Care as a Support Worker and with Silver Chain as a Community Support Worker (Volunteer). I have got the skills in caring for a person with daily living , meds, IV infusion, Subcut and Intramuscular injections, IV therapy and wound care. I am confident enough to perform these skills and to work as a carer/AIN with full dedication. I have all the updated health and legal checks available.
