I wish to apply for the advertised position you have as a Disability Support Worker I have been working in the disability and aged care field since 2009. I have experience working in the home care sector and I have excellent negotiation skills I am positive in my ability to assess the risks and make good decisions as I have had to do through my experience in the disability field. I am highly motivated and have an enthusiastic attitude as I also love to help people achieve their goals in life. I am energetic and very self-motivated. I am flexible enough to work a range of shifts in Residential Services and Day Service Programs. I have worked with behaviours of concern I am currently working as a disability support worker at Scope in the eastern suburbs in a house with five clients and have also worked in day program with a client from the house to see what the client does at the day program, as located in Ringwood through Scope. I currently live in Bayswater and looking for a job that’s not too far from home. I entered this field as I enjoy helping others and making sure they get their full quality of life that is needed and to help clients achieve their goals in life. I have a family member with MD and friends with disabilities. I’m an honest and caring person and always reliable and always on time. I hold my Certificate 3 in Aged Care and certificate 3 in Home and Community Care. Current first aid level 2 (including CPR) Current valid driver’s license
